My very first Adventure PC game was none other than the great-grandmother of Adventure games: King's Quest 1 way back in 1984. Back then, there wasn't such a thing as a mouse, so we need to type on the keyboard the commands to make Graham do stuff: "Take knife from tree"! Hours of grammar and spelling fun! It really did improve my English back then. And then came the mouse, and Adventure games took a brand new high!

However, towards the end of the 1990s, gaming companies just weren't interested in making Adventure PC games any more, as they felt making FPS games were more profitable. I said bullshit, but too bad.
