It is now the end of the year! There will forever be many games I have not completed. But here are the games I did complete in this quarter:

- Assassin's Creed Syndicate
- Assassin's Creed Origins
- Streets of Rage 4 (Nintendo Switch)

As you can see I have been clearing my Assassin's Creed games this year, so it is difficult to choose one favourite this QGCR, but here it is:

Although I enjoyed Assassin's Creed Origins and currently still playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Assassin's Creed Syndicate was my favourite this quarter because it is not RPG-like like the forementioned two Assassin's Creed games.

Not that I don't like RPG games, I do, but I don't think Assassin's Creed games should be RPG-like.  This is just my two cents anyway...

Wow, we are already 3 months into the new year, and hope the human race can still survive the ongoing pandemic.  Ok, enough of this bullshit real life situation, onto some gaming report!

Check out the list of games I have completed this quarter:

- Final Fantasy VII (Nintendo Switch)

- Final Fantasy VIII (Nintendo Switch)

An all time favourite released on Nintendo Switch:
 
It took me a quarter of a century after the release of Final Fantasy VII on its original platform to complete the game! Back in 1998, I had bought the original PC version of this game.  However, my brother played it instead of me, and I never got around to play it.

Fast forward to Nov 2019, I bought the Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII Nintendo Switch pack and completed both games in Jan 2022 and Mar 2022 respectively.  Truly classic games even after all these years!  Even though Final Fantasy VIII was great, but it was just not as great as Final Fantasy VII.

This game is truly a mix between The Division 2 and Diablo 3/  Some may not agree with me, but nevertheless, I had a lot of fun playing Outriders.  Kudos to the developers!

Animal Crossing! #AnimalCrossing

I never thought I would play these kind of games, but once I started it today, I am hooked! I am of course referring to:

I bought this game on 30 July 2020 out of impulse, and it was definitely worth it!

Now, it will be a long time before I finish Assassin's Creed Unity LOL!

Welcome to another QGCR! This will be the very first QGCR that I included not one but two non-PC games. Take a guess which ones?:

- Fallout 4
- Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order
- Super Mario Bros U Deluxe (Nintendo Switch)
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

As usual, all these games were great in their own ways, but the most enjoyable game and the one I played the longest this time went to:


When I had finished playing Fallout 4, I had clocked in 88 number of hours!

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order #NintendoSwitch #MarvelUltimateAlliance3

I was not supposed to buy this game. But I couldn't resist a pre-order sale! So, after waiting for exactly 1 month (paid online on 19 June, got the game delivered today!), my 7th Switch game is Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order:



Again, it was fun playing with my two kids as we blasted enemies using the Marvel Superheroes!

Super Mario Bros U Deluxe for Switch #NintendoSwitch #SuperMarioBrosUDeluxe

My 6th Switch game was without a doubt, a throw back to my younger gaming years where the Super Mario Bros series (especially the 3rd instalment) held a special place. Presenting the updated version for contemporary gaming, Super Mario Bros U Deluxe:



Best part of this game, 4 players at the same time. Worst part of this game, 4 players at the same time (imagine the arguments between my kids and me!)

I need to get back to my family friendly games. And my 5th Switch, the Hasbro Game Night was the solution!



So far, we had only played Trivia Pursuit, because we had the physical versions of Monopoly and RISK. But who knows the future?

This happened because my daughter was getting tired of Super Smash Bros (not my son!) and now she absolutely loves Super Mario Party!

Starlink Deluxe Edition for Switch #NintendoSwitch #Starlink

A little over a week, I bought my 2nd Nintendo Switch game. And it was a digital download too! I went all in for the Starlink Deluxe Edition during the Christmas sale!



Although this is not Elite Dangerous, it satisfied my console space exploration.

I remember writing on Facebook that I will not buy a Nintendo Switch. That was about a year ago. And here I am, forking out my hard earn money for the Nintendo Switch Super Smash Bros Ultimate Edition!




Call me a hypocrite, but I realised my mistake.  I love this console! And the excuse I gave my wife was that I could play this with my two children!
