Wing Commander II - Vengeance of the Kilrathi Wing Commander II: Vengeance of the Kilrathi

Definitely the best space simulation game during the 1990s, because of its game play and storyline. After the events of Wing Commander I, our hero is accused of the destruction of the Tiger's Claw, the flagship of the Confederation, during the war with humanity's sworn enemies: the Kilrathi.

Apparently, our hero is convinced that the Kilrathi has developed cloaking fighters but no one in the Confederation believes him and he is subsequently demoted to the rank of Captain and posted to some far away space station for petrol duty.

Ten years later, an opportunity to prove his innocence arises from an old friend...

Throughout the game, old friends from Wing Commander I starts appearing as the story progresses.

Because this game was so successful, Origin later produced two add-ons to continue the storyline.

Release Date: 1991
