The war between humans and the alien Snogg continues in this latest instalment of Quake. Quake 4 began where Quake 2 left off.The hero, ie the player, had killed some bad-ass alien boss at the end of Quake 2, without any help from his fellow comrades-in-arms, because they were all killed by the Snogg. He was then reassigned to Rhino squad and put back into the field again.
This time, he not only gets to visit his commanding flagship, but also gets to drive some pretty cool tanks and mechs. But in order to defeat the enemy, one has to become the enemy...
